DID YOU KNOW...?
This weekly email is about making life in Historic Norcross feel more connected, fun and familiar. What started with about 30 young couples on an email list has organically grown to include hundreds of neighbors in all seasons of life.
With that growth in mind, Young Norcross is now Norcross Social Club!
The name is new, but the idea is the same: making the most of life in beautiful Historic Norcross with the people who make living here so fun. Thank you to Andrew Lawandus for the logo design! Gwinnett Pride 2026
The 6th Annual Gwinnett Pride Festival returns to Thrasher Park on Saturday, June 13, from 12-6pm! Hosted by Visibility Club, this year’s theme is “Unapologetically Us,” celebrating joy, connection, and the strength of Gwinnett’s LGBTQIA+ community. The free, family-friendly festival will feature live entertainment, queer-centered performers, a community market, music by La Choloteca, and space for advocacy and connection!
Neighborhood jobs helper for hire
Lincoln Bare, recent high school graduate, is available for neighborhood jobs including lawn mowing, weed eating, weed pulling, mulch spreading, blowing, bush pruning, power washing, car washing and waxing, and junk removal. He has a pickup truck, general skills, a strong work ethic, and a younger brother who can help on larger jobs. Lincoln can price work by the hour or by the job, with very reasonable rates. Expedition Tour of Homes
The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation is bringing its Expedition Tour to Norcross on Saturday, August 15, from 10am-5pm! This self-guided tour invites guests to explore historic private homes, churches, venues, preservation projects, and other sites connected to Norcross’ history. Details and tickets are available here! *If you’re interested in opening your property for the event, email Jeff at jhopper50@gmail.com before June 19, which is when paperwork is due.
